Property Investment

Schroders has managed property funds since 1971 and now has £8.4 (€10.7 / US$15.0) billion of gross property assets under management (at 30 September 2008, excluding crossholdings).

We manage a broad range of open and closed ended property funds offering investors exposure to both diversified and sector focused portfolios. Investors can choose between single country funds, regional funds and a global solution.

Our assets under management include £1.5 (€1.9 / US$2.7 ) billion invested through our dedicated property multi-manager team (at 30 June 2008, including crossholdings). The team invests internationally in both unlisted property funds and listed property securities.

The property team consists of over 130 people across ten offices located in London, Wiesbaden, Amsterdam, Milan, Jersey, Paris, Luxembourg, Stockholm, Zurich and Hong Kong. The team is experienced in property fund management, research and strategy, investor relations, finance and administration. The team also benefits from the significant resources of the Schroders Group.
